2026 Alabama Trip

April 30th to May 4th

A great trip to Birmingham built around the legendary Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail: championship layouts, fast greens, questionable swing decisions, and even more questionable drink choices. We teed it up across some of Alabama’s best public golf courses, chasing birdies during the day and Knicks playoff wins at night. Competitive rounds, nonstop trash talk and honey jack / basil hayden flowing by Hole 3. Between the rolling and extremely hilly fairways, southern food stops and playoff watch sessions, this trip was less about perfect golf and more about great hangs with the crew.

Dining experiences included Fleming's Steakhouse, Los Amigos for mexican and some southern barbeque at the Burning Tree.

While the original forecast predicted three rainy days, we enjoyed progressively sunnier and warmer weather for all three rounds of golf.

It's important to note that while Rickster and Mork held the beer pong table for many games, Merc and Jimbo handily removed them from their throne.
