2023 COLLETON RIVER TRIP 

April 28th to May 2nd

Mr. Mure organized a successful trip to the Colleton River Club in Bluffton, South Carolina! Some of the lucky boys were able to stay at the Mure residence located at 46 Inverness Drive. The others relaxed at the Old Tom Morris cottage located near the Nicklaus clubhouse.

The group enjoyed the Colleton River Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus golf courses as well as the off-campus Golden Bear and Hilton Head National tracks. The CR 4th hole bocce and dock amenities served this aging group better than the pickleball courts.

Dining experiences included Chart House [savannah], Old Oyster Factory, Smokehouse and the private Wine Room at the Nicklaus clubhouse. The boys also traveled to Savannah to enjoy a Umphrey's McGee concert at the Johnny Mercer Theater.

Sadly, Armand's surgery recovery was slower than expected and he was unable to join us and show off his golfing, drinking and bocce skills.
